📖 This Week's Story

Today we're going to learn about our faith journey - رحلة إيماننا! Let's remember all the wonderful stories God has given us. Our faith journey begins with creation, when God made the beautiful world and Adam and Eve. Then we learned about Noah, who trusted God during the great flood. Abraham showed us what it means to have faith when God asked him to leave his home. Moses led God's people out of Egypt, and God gave them the Ten Commandments. Can anyone tell me about the prophets we learned about? Yes! Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Daniel all spoke God's words to His people. Then came the most important part of our journey - Jesus! He was born in Bethlehem, just like we celebrate at Christmas. Jesus taught us to love God and love each other. He performed miracles, healed the sick, and fed thousands of people. He gave us the beautiful prayer, the Our Father. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but then He rose from the dead on Easter! He sent the Holy Spirit to guide us, and the apostles spread His message everywhere, even to our Lebanese ancestors. In our Maronite tradition, we remember Saint Maron and all the saints who continued this faith journey. They showed us how to live like Jesus every day. What's your favorite story from our faith journey? Each story teaches us something special about God's love! Remember, children, our faith journey doesn't end with these stories - we're still on the journey! Every day, we can choose to follow Jesus, pray, be kind to others, and grow closer to God. Just like all the heroes of faith before us, we're part of God's amazing story too!
